***     TUESDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2024   ***

when we welcome:    James Delarre & Saul Rose     to Dartford Folk Club

Fine musicians and longtime friends, James Delarre and Saul Rose are masters of their craft and well known for their outstanding musicianship
and crystal clear talent. Audiences are promised a warm, joyful and very personal evening of exquisitely delivered traditional tunes and songs.

Their latest record, aptly entitled 'Kith & Kin' celebrates the pair's enduring friendship and expanding families and hailed as:
'good news for every folk music fan' by Bright Young Folk   and   'sheer joy of music-making oozes through every track' by Living Tradition.
The duo intertwine seamlessly; dancing around the tunes between the notes, finding space and air, and breathing fresh energy into the music.

James Delarre is a virtuoso Fiddle player and singer, a founding member of the critically acclaimed bands Topette!!, Mawkin, and Mawkin;Causley
and is in demand within the traditional English folk scene and beyond.
Saul Rose is a renowned master English melodeon player and singer. He was one-third of the power folk band Faustus, and The Eliza Carthy Trio,
a founding member of Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band and was a long-time member of Waterson:Carthy, winners of two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

'Outstanding musicianship.'   Songlines
'Masters of their craft. This duo is just brilliant.'   FATEA Records

PAM & ALAN COLLS

Founders of the Dartford Folk Club, Pam and Alan Colls ran the Club together for over 40 years, booking an amazing variety of artists within the Folk genre.
Sadly both Pam and Alan have passed away but, at our 50th Birthday celebrations in October 2023, the team, guests and audience raised a glass
to remember their friendship, achievements and amazing contributions to the music world.

The Dartford Folk Club is now managed by a small team of original members in memory of and as a legacy to Pam & Alan's love for music.
