WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON

***     TUESDAY 20TH FEBRUARY 2024   ***

when we welcome:    Enda McCabe     to Dartford Folk Club

A Dubliner by birth, Enda McCabe spent over two decades in England. Unfortunately, unable to work due to poor health,
he made the most of things and from 1989 he realised his lifetime ambition by working as a full-time musician.

Enda returned to Ireland in 1998, stayed in Dublin for a couple of years before moving to Connemara where he has lived ever since.
He released his first recording "Dreams of Carrickfergus" in 1989 and "Ceol sa Chistin (Music in the Kitchen)" in June 2010. His latest CD,
"Bin Éadair go Both Loiscthe (Howth to Spiddal)" was recorded with Colly Moore, a fiddler from Howth in Co Dublin, and has been equally well received.

Enda had to stop touring at the end of 2014, due to kidney failure but, after seven years, he received a kidney transplant in 2021. He began touring again in 2022
and, in a recent television interview said: 'I am so grateful to be able to tour once again, singing songs, playing tunes and to have my life back.'

Enda's shows contain songs, music and tales 'tall and short' which he performs in Folk Clubs, Festivals, Libraries and Arts Centres.

Doors Open at 7.15pm with the evening starting at 8pm.
NO RESERVED SEATING! Please do come early if you are planning to sit with a large group of friends.

PAM & ALAN COLLS

Founders of the Dartford Folk Club, Pam and Alan Colls ran the Club together for over 40 years, booking an amazing variety of artists within the Folk genre.
Sadly both Pam and Alan have passed away but, at our 50th Birthday celebrations in October 2023, the team, guests and audience raised a glass
to remember their friendship, achievements and amazing contributions to the music world.

The Dartford Folk Club is now managed by a small team of original members in memory of and as a legacy to Pam & Alan's love for music.
