WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON

***     TUESDAY 23RD JULY 2024   ***

when we welcome:    The Wilderness Yet     to Dartford Folk Club

The Wilderness Yet has earned audiences' esteem as consummate musicians & singers, weaving an eclectic tapestry of traditional and original songs;
a cappella three-part harmonies to luscious instrumental arrangements. From their eponymous debut The Wilderness Yet (2020) to their last studio album,
What Holds The World Together (2022), The Wilderness Yet has consistently created genre-breaking music earning them hundreds of first class reviews
from the global music press, airplay on the mainstream TV, and performances at festivals from Cambridge to Folk by the Oak.

Rowan, a traditional musician who grew up in the foothills of the Burren on the west coast of Ireland, is a fine singer with a "deep understanding and feel for tradition"
(FolkWords) and is a workshop leader, serial tunebook author, and the winner of the 'Future of Young Folk Award' at Bromyard Folk Festival.

Rosie has a voice that brings "a ruby-richness to lyrics new and old" (Folk Radio UK), so it's no surprise that she has been a finalist for the BBC Young Folk Award.
Rosie's own songs are heavily influenced by the English tradition and her love of literature and the environment.

Philippe is well-known on the folk scene as a virtuosic flautist, but is an equally magnificent guitarist! Since completing an MA in Irish Music Performance
at University of Limerick, he has toured with many bands as well as being a regular session musician on film and TV soundtracks.

Doors Open at 7.15pm with the evening starting at 8pm.
NO RESERVED SEATING! Please do come early if you are planning to sit with a large group of friends.

PAM & ALAN COLLS

Founders of the Dartford Folk Club, Pam and Alan Colls ran the Club together for over 40 years, booking an amazing variety of artists within the Folk genre.
Sadly both Pam and Alan have passed away but, at our 50th Birthday celebrations in October 2023, the team, guests and audience raised a glass
to remember their friendship, achievements and amazing contributions to the music world.

The Dartford Folk Club is now managed by a small team of original members in memory of and as a legacy to Pam & Alan's love for music.
