ALISON & JAMES

James and Alison, longstanding members of Dartford Folk Club, have been listening to and playing music together for many years.

James has been playing the mouthorgan since he was 11 years old when his older brother bought him one to stop his constant talking...
the ploy didn't work! But the mouthorgan did.

He played harmonica with The Dartford Ramblers folk group and played Bass Harmonica with the harmonica band Four in Accord.

Alison enjoys playing guitar and mandolin and has been a member of Native Grass (with Lesley, George and Gill) for a number of years.

She likes to play American roots, traditional folk music and classic early 20th century songs.
