TUESDAY 09 SEPTEMBER 2025 Stan Graham Every now and again someone quite special comes up from the Club scene that stands out in both terms of repertoire, personality and performance. Stan Graham is one such person. His musical journey began in the early 2000s, when he joined York's Black Swan Folk Club as a resident singer. It soon became apparent that he had an innate ability to capture real emotion and touch the hearts of audiences with his memorable songs and melodies. On stage Stan has a friendly, relaxed presence which, combined with a rich mellow voice and tasteful guitar work, allows his lyrics to shine through. His reputation amongst his peers in the songwriting world has long been established and with many of his songs taking their place as "folk classics". TUESDAY 16 SEPTEMBER 2025 Flossie Malavialle Flossie Malavialle is a French born singer who was based in the North East of England from 2002 to 2019. She has become an accomplished performer playing at folk clubs and festivals all over the UK (and beyond) and supporting acts such as Fairport Convention and Show of Hands. Flossie's powerful yet sensitive rendition of songs combined with her quaint northern twang and humorous banter will no doubt entertain and leave you with a smile! Her collection of 14 albums is a reminder of how much work and dedication she has put into her music career: from well-established folk songs to jazz standards, from blues numbers to Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel's classics, her wide repertoire appeals to all. | Founders of the Dartford Folk Club, Pam and Alan Colls ran the Club together for over 40 years, booking an amazing variety of artists within the Folk genre. Sadly both Pam and Alan have passed away but, at our 50th Birthday celebrations in October 2023, the team, guests and audience raised a glass to remember their friendship, achievements and amazing contributions to the music world. The Dartford Folk Club is now managed by a small team of original members in memory of and as a legacy to Pam & Alan's love for music.
