FOLKIE FEBRUARY!! TUESDAY 03 FEBRUARY 2026 Arthur Coates and Kerran Cotterell Arthur Coates & Kerran Cotterell are a two-man trad tornado tearing through the folk world with foot percussion, fiddle, guitar, vocals, and groove to spare. Kitted out with grooving basslines, tight harmonies, and offbeat charm, they're just a couple of lads with a tangle of strings... ...yet they somehow summon the sound and swagger of a much bigger band. Their music blends original compositions with tunes and songs they've found in the wild, delivered with harmonies, tall tales, and a streak of serious silliness. Their shows mix clickety clacks, plucks and strums, with easy repartee and sharp turns with every piece crafted to keep toes tapping, faces smiling, and the whole room leaning in. TUESDAY 10 FEBRUARY 2026 Bird in the Belly Bird in the Belly is a Brighton-based Folk group consisting of folk-duo Hickory Signals (Laura Ward and Adam Ronchetti), alt-folk singer-songwriter Ben Webb and multi-instrumentalist and producer Tom Pryor. Together they collect little known and forgotten lyrics, poems and stories from around the UK, and set them to their own 'hypnotically original compositions' (fRoots)... Their sound is raw and bare-boned with 'distinctively contemporary and earthy vocalising' (R2 Magazine) and harks back to the 1960's Folk Revival sound. Their debut album 'The Crowing' (March 2018) was met with critical acclaim, the Sunday Express giving the album 5/5 and calling it folk album of the year. PAM & ALAN COLLS
| Founders of the Dartford Folk Club, Pam and Alan Colls ran the Club together for over 40 years, booking an amazing variety of artists within the Folk genre. Sadly both Pam and Alan have passed away but, at our 50th Birthday celebrations in October 2023, the team, guests and audience raised a glass to remember their friendship, achievements and amazing contributions to the music world. The Dartford Folk Club is now managed by a small team of original members in memory of and as a legacy to Pam & Alan's love for music.
